Poor Chelsea White. I think of her everyday.
You may remember that a few months ago I made a complimentary website for a young girl, age 6, who needed an operation in California. Her family needed to raise money so that Chelsea’s mother could accompany her on the trip. (original blog post original website)
Chelsea and her mom have been in California since early June. Chelsea has had a number of operations, vomited numerous times daily when awake, suffered high fevers, been in a doctor induced coma (for 5 or 6 days), had so many CT scans I lost count, had a feeding tube, had tubes draining fluids from around her brain for days, had her head shaved, been poked and prodded for almost 8 weeks now… she has not recovered from her operations and procedures as quickly or as well as hoped. It has been a miserable few months for Chelsea. My heart breaks for her and her family.

Chelsea two days ago… the first time I have seen her shaved head. All she has been though and she still manages a smile… sweet little thing.
