SMBE works in partnership with Scholastic Book Fairs to excite children about books and foster a joy of reading. Additionally, this fair raises funds to provide our school library and classrooms with book resources. Last year our book fair profits translated into about 500 new books for SMBE.

The SMBE book fair is organized by a team of two: Sandee Long- SMBE Librarian and Belinda Naugler Adams- book fair chairperson and volunteer. They are supported by a small and dedicated group of parent volunteers: Roberta Inglis, Marilyn McDonald, Margaret Duhan, Tracey Mountford, Shawna Henderson, Rosie Kirby, Brenda Synder, Bruce Vickery, Maria Baker, Lisa Charlton, Anita Burrows, MJ Laing and Debbie Wallace.
